On another note, I just got back from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida yesterday. My old high school choir was chosen to perform in the Disney Candlelight Precession again this year. I wasn't able to go last time they did it, so since I was invited this time, I was like "Hell yes, I'm going." And then it turned out that Alysia and I didn't even have to sing, so we just got to chill! Anyway, we got there around 5:30pm Friday night after a 13 hour drive (We left my old high school at 4:30am). We stayed in the cheapest resort, the All-Star Sports resort. It was still quite nice for being the cheapest one! Anyway, Friday night I went to Downtown Disney with Doc.'s ST (Katie Bertschi) and looked around. We ate at the Earl of Sandwich and it was amazing, I must say. It was so quick too! That night, I more window shopped than anything because I was looking for potential Christmas presents, but I found this super cute tie bracelet that I just HAD to have.
The next day (Saturday), Alysia and her aunt were coming in by plane, so I waited for them, and they got there at like 1pm. Once they got there, they ate lunch and then we headed out for Animal Kingdom! I liked Animal Kingdom second best. I love animals, I loved what they had there, I thought it was amazing. And the big carved tree was so awesome! The best thing there was the Festival of the Lion King though. Oh my goodness, it was amazingggg! My favorite part was the monkey acrobats. Some of those monkeys were cute. ;D
But yeah. We spent all day at Animal Kingdom, and then went out to Downtown Disney again. We made it to the World of Disney store and then Alysia and her aunt had to quit because they were too tired. But I did buy a laptop case, phone case and a big Harris bear (from Brave)(Harris is my Kuma bear that Chris got me, I got the same bear, but in a bigger from. I named him Kuro!). So we went back to the resort and sleptttt. Sleep is so great. The next day (Sunday) we woke up earlier, but still had a little bit of a late start. The other students went to church, and Alysia's aunt was supposed to go with them, but she ended up not feeling well and slept in. So Alysia and I decided we would go to MGM/Hollywood Studios (since it was like the smallest park) and get what we wanted to get done there (without her aunt, because she was just being old and stuffy and not up to par with us young folks) and then pick up her aunt and go to Magic Kingdom. We gave her aunt an estimated time of when we would be back, we said around 1-2pm, but obviously we weren't sure how long we'd be, it was just an estimate. So we went and did stuff and watched a Beauty and the Beast thing and by the time we got out it was like 2:30 or so. Her aunt called all pissy and shit and she was like "Are you even coming back? Are you gonna leave me behind?" We were like, if you keep acting that way we will. Who does she think she is? We're trying to have fun, don't pull this shit. When we got back around 3, because the bus rides take like 20/30 minutes, she was aggravated because we said we'd be back by around 1-2. If she wanted to not be left behind she should have gotten her ass up and came with us. But no. We let her sleep. And Alysia was like "It's not our fault..." and her aunt was like "Well, It's not MY fault!" And so I stepped in and I was like "Uhm, it's no one's fault. The busses take time and we had no idea when we would really be getting back, we just gave an estimate, so you can stop." She looked at me like I had just told her to go fuck herself with a rusty nail. Bitch, I'm not gonna stand back and have you blame ether of us on this shit. I don't think so. I will leave you behind. You aren't related to me... Anyway, when her aunt was further away, I whispered to Alysia "If you aunt tries to ruin our fun by complaining like that anymore, I WILL tell her something." And Alysia looked at me understandingly. So then we headed to Magic Kingdom! We went through every land. I think Haunted Mansion was pretty great. Oh, I loved the show on the stage in front of the castle too. We only caught the tail end of it, but of what we saw, it was great and adorable, and I loved it! Out of every land they had, I think I liked Tomorrowland the best. I loved the Peoplemover. Reminded me of my childhood. <3
But then we went back to the hotel. Actually, Alysia wanted to meet her friend who had taken the Disney internship, and he was like "I'm going to watch the light show in MGM with my friend, you should come but you have to be in the park before 8pm to see it."... Obviously... We didn't make it. So we headed to Downtown Disney again, and explored the entire thing (Except for the West End side). I have to say, I really loved Downtown Disney. I took pictures of all the stuffs! (I'll upload them on here so you can see them. It will be in the drop down of the "DIARY" tab!)
Anyways, so Alysia and I realized that there were a few things we wanted to do in the Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland that we didn't get to do. So we decided to do those few things Monday morning before we go to Epcot to see the performance... You know, the reason we even got to go in the first place. Once we finished those things and got to Epcot it was like 3/3:30pm? Candlelight Precession starts at 5... Shit, we better move! The line was BOUND to be huge because... Well... Neil Patrick Harris, aka GOD, was narrating the entire thing. But we really needed to eat, so we decided to go to the "Liberty Inn" and ate there, right across from the stage they were performing on. When we finished, it was like 4pm... Oh Lord, the line... HUGE. Anyway, we did eventually get seated, kind of in the middle but it was pretty ok seating. Ahhh, NPH, he was so amazingly beautiful! And after that was done, we had 2 hours to explore Epcot... Or not. Doc. changed the time to meet at 7:30... It was supposed to be 8pm! UGH. But we did at least spend a lot of time in Japan (it was so beautiful, I want to live there, omg), and we got to take a quick look into Norway. But then we headed out. All the while my knee killing me! We took the monorail to Epcot via Magic Kingdom, and as soon as I got off, my knee started giving me trouble... I don't know. It still hurts a lot... ANyway, we finally got back to the bus and headed off. The bus had 3 more people and I was forced to share a seat... Which wasn't good for my knee. We spent the night in Tallahassee and that helped a bit, just getting some real, stretched out sleep. Eventually, the next day (Tuesday), I asked Katie to go sit in the other empty seat so I could prop my leg up. It was really hurting so bad... We had breakfast at the La Quita, and then stopped somewhere along the way to get lunch (which was McDonald's so I couldn't eat anything...) Eventually, at 5pm, we got back to AOL on Tuesday.
Oh, another thing I forgot to mention! (It's been a while, cut me some slack~) I recently got a job at the Renaissance Festival in Hammond, Louisiana. I work at "Knightly Musik". My boss' name is literally Baroque, and he's the weirdest human being I think I've ever come across. But he's cool. I treat him like a normal person, like anyone else, not my boss. He likes my spirit and he thinks I'm adorable. He's weird, man... Anyway, I came across it towards the end of the festival, and since I went to Disney this past weekend, there are only 2 more weekends left. There's December 1st, and 2nd. But that's right before finals week, and I have some finals to study for and a concert on Saturday, so there's no way I can work Saturday. But maybe I'll be able to work Sunday! And the last weekend is December 8th, and 9th. That's the weekend after finals week, so I'm completely open to work. So I hope I can. He just has to see how busy it is, and stuff. If I don't work again this year, and he's still in business next year and I don't have a super conflicting job, he says he'll definitely let me work for him again. He offered me a regular job, but... Hammond is an hour away. I'd be driving that almost every day. There would be no profit for me, because I'd just be paying for gas with the money I earn. How unfortunate. But yeah, if you read this and you're close to the area, you should come on up/down to Ren. Fest.! It's fun, you see amazing things, nice merch., great people, and awesome food, oh my god. Help me be able to work, because it's a lot of fun! The more people, the better business! :D
